is nizo 6080 crystal synced?

I am new to this but is the nizo 6080 crystal synced? I am looking to shoot a little film with sound... I wanna use a mini-disc for sound.... I will then have the film transfered through a telecine to Dvcam (digital tape). Is this possible...thanks

The 6080 is not crystal synced from the factory but for $500 you can have The Film Group convert it. Or you can use your editing system to stretch and edit your audio to keep it synced.

Thanks for the fast reply, is it hard to sync the sound without the crysal snyc? and Can I use a mini disc recorder for the sound?
